The Bruery.

Series of watercolor and ink diagrams of The Bruery’s seasonal beers, highlighting the specific hops, grains, yeast strains, and specialty flavorings used in their award-winning beers.

This Southern California craft brewery features a rotating selection of my beer illustrations on their home page. The Bruery was my very first commission, and so are obviously very awesome.

Kingston, NY. August 2011.

Created a custom “meat map” of Brooklyn to commemorate the opening of their “Pork Slope” butcher shop.

 

Beachwood BBQ.

Long Beach, CA. Summer 2011.

Created a set of three original paintings for opening of newest restaurant branch, in Long Beach, CA. Acrylic and gouache on 18 x 24 wood panels. The chef owner focuses the menu on BBQ and wild game, and with their new Long Beach location, they have started brewing their own beer in house. The restaurant has a mid-century aesthetic, which Alyson used as inspiration for the colors and design of these three pieces.

 

Il Cane Rosso Pizzeria.

Dallas Texas. 2010 – present. The owner Jay Jerrier asked Alyson, who hails from nearby Rowlett, TX, to create a mural for his new temple of Neapolitan pizza after seeing her work on Slice. The Italian porcine paint job was completed during the great snowstorm of February 2011. It’s really quite big.
